Hope this update finds you well, maybe during some (safe) holidays, well deserved in these hard times!
While we don't have any significant news about the comics (Giulia, Marta and Zeno are already drawing, and I - Francis - have started writing The old man chapter two), we completed the CARD GAME!
This should have been a little, simple gift for you, but our hands MAY have slipped a little... so we wrote a game with 18characters, 5 Crisis to resolve and a "Book of Outcomes" with 49 endings! xD
The game flows well, it's easy to learn, and most important fit with the OOTB Comics mood.
You can play it to meet your favorite characters even before reading the first issue, and to tell your own story!
Yes but where is it?
You'll receive a private message on Kickstarter with the link. It's a Google Drive folder where you'll be able to download all you need (except for the dice :P ), in English and/or Italian. You'll also find instructions, so go there already! :D
Why the private message?
Because only backers who pledged 9€ or more could actually download it. BUT! You could still become a backer!

Non abbiamo grosse notizie sul fumetto (Giulia, Marta e Zeno stanno già disegnando, mentre io - Francis - ho iniziato a scrivere il secondo capitolo del Vecchio), però abbiamo terminato il GIOCODI CARTE!
Doveva essere un piccolo, semplice dono per voi, ma mi sa che ci sono scivolate un po' le mani... e abbiamo scritto un gioco con 18 personaggi, 5 Crisi da risolvere e un "Libro degli Esiti" con 49 finali! xD
Il gioco gira bene, è facile da imparare, e soprattutto restituisce il mood dei fumetti di OOTB.
Potete giocarci per conoscere i vostri personaggi preferiti ancora prima di leggere il primo capitolo, e per raccontare la vostra storia!
Sì ma dove sta?
Riceverete un messaggio privato su Kickstarter con il link. Porta a una cartella Google Drive dove potrete scaricare tutto ciò che vi serve (tranne i dadi :P ), in Italiano e/o Inglese. Troverete anche le istruzioni, quindi apritelo e basta! :D

Perché in teoria solo i sostenitori che hanno offerto 9€ o più potrebbero scaricarlo. MA! Potreste ancora diventarlo!

Hello friends! Want to see something cool?
That's right, Project Hummingbird is a 6 years old story xD
The first version was made for the "Lucca comics Project Contest", and we ended up as finalist. :)
As you can see, Giulia has started working on Project Hummingbird, and we are all astonished! ^_^
Marta's work on The turquoise wolf is also proceeding very smoothly, as she has already done 11 pages out of 20!
Remember that you can see Marta at work in real time, if you follow her on her socials, like Twitch!
About the other stories: Zeno is sweating on his videogame, but he should start working on The copper roll soon, while Elisa (Ghost Dance) and Eleonora (The old man) should begin their stories around october.
About the future
We writers (Francis, Matteo, Brian and Giacomo) are working on the treatments of chapters 2. They should be ready within September; then we'll start writing the scripts, that should be ready between the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022.
The card game!
I know it may be not the thing that you all are waiting for, but the OOTB card game turn out to be quite funny!
It's a game with cards, dice and narrative elements that let you live YOUR OOTB stories, with your favorite characters. Playtests are almost completed, and we are at 50% of writing the "Book of outcomes", which is the longest part.
After that, we'll send you everything needed to print the game yourself and begin to "read" some OOTB adventures before the comic is even printed! :D

🇮🇹 Non riusciamo ad esprimere quanto siamo felici che abbiate incoronato il successo di Out Of The Box.
È un progetto editorialmente quasi senza senso, ma voi siete riusciti a cogliere il suo cuore, e ci avete sostenuto. Ben più di quanto pensavamo, sinceramente.
Con 147 sostenitori del "resto del mondo" e 135 italiani, Out Of The Box è a tutti gli effetti un progetto di successo internazionale!
Certo, non siamo arrivati a Kent Williams... per ora. ;)
Come vi abbiamo raccontato in altri update, stiamo lavorando a queste storie attivamente da ormai 2 anni, ecco le prove:

It’s an almost senseless editorial project, but you managed to understand its heart, and you supported us. More than we thought, honestly.

What now / Che succede adesso?
🇮🇹 Prima di tutto, la vostra offerta verrà addebitata sulla vostra carta di credito, quindi assicuratevi che sia attiva e carica. Se il primo addebito dovesse fallire, Kickstarter farà nuovi tentativi nei giorni successivi.
Dopodiché serviranno un paio di settimane per trasferire i fondi, e nel frattempo allestiremo il Pledge Manager, che vi servirà per pagare le spese di spedizione (ma tra qualche mese, probabilmente) e da cui partirà un sondaggio, che servirà per preparare le ricompense e per avere un po' di feedback da voi.
Non vi preoccupate, vi seguiremo passo passo. :)
Per il momento, però, ci prendiamo qualche giorno di pausa, e vi auguriamo buon proseguimento. <3
🇺🇸 First of all, your pledge will be charged to your credit card, so make sure your payment methods are up to date to avoid dropped pledges. If the first charge fails, Kickstarter will make new attempts in the following days.
After that it will take a couple of weeks to transfer the funds, and in the meantime we will set up the Pledge Manager, which will serve you to pay the shipping fee (but in a few months, probably) and from which a survey will be sent, that will serve to prepare the rewards and to get some feedback from you.
Don’t worry, we will follow you step by step. :)
For the moment, however, we take a few days off, and we wish you well. <3
